Kellan is starting to smile more!!!

Big Hole!!

The boys and I spent the day at a petting zoo and going cave diving...well..cave walking, at least. They got a whole 300 feet inside and decided it was too dark and wet. The black area behind them is the cave entrance. HUGE!!

Backyard Campground

We put a tent up in the backyard and I made a little fire pit to hang out with the guys. It was a big hit and we will be doing it again soon. Mimi thought is was cool too!!

Home a Day Early!!

We were asked this morning if we wanted to get everyone home today or tomorrow, so we got Kellan and Erin outta there!!! Now the REAL FUN starts!! We are all excited. The boys are very curious and willing to "help" right now. We'll see how long that lasts. Erin is recovering better than last time, but that is my opinion. She may have a different opinion at the moment, but she is in better spirits for sure. Her mobility is better and her pain is under control. We are busy snapping more pictures and will post the homecoming shots soon. Stay tuned!!

Airshow!!

When I was a little kid I went to a lot of airshows with my dad. I don't remember my brother or sister sharing my enthusiasm, but my dad and I loved them. I was really excited to get the chance to take Aidan and Dylan to one today. Dylan thought they were too loud at first, then didn't seem to care. We went inside a couple "big planes" like the C-17 pictured. They wanted to see the big ones fly but had to settle with only the "baby planes". The weather cut short our day and made for some interesting sights to be sure. Seems a microburst hit us an hour before the Blue Angels were to perform and we had to hide under an F-15 wing!! Very exciting!!

P.S. Yes..... Aidan had to pee.

New effort to post more often.

I am going to make an effort to post to our blog more often. So much is going on now, I think I should start updating anyone who is looking. I will include pictures with the post if I have any new ones available. Sometimes I might just spew out whatever is on my mind.

For anyone who hasn't heard, we are naming our next family member Kellan Christopher Lohse. He is scheduled to arrive August 8, 2008. Thats 8-8-08. A little claim to fame right out of the oven. This kid is already cooler than the rest of us!!
